Dwight Patterson

As NSM's bass tutor, Dwight brings an incredible wealth of experience from years of gigging with some of India's biggest names on many of the largest stages including London's Wembley stadium. He has recorded and played live with the likes of Leslie Lewis, Ehsaan and Ranjith Barot, and currently tours with Adnan Sami, and Taalization, a unique bass and percussion concept band. Starting off as a progressive rock musician, he has powered the rhythm sections of notable Kolkotta bands such as High Calcutta, Indigo and Krozzwinds.

Dwight has also composed and played on numerous jingles. As a bass player, Dwight sees himself as the band's goalkeeper, a role that he describes as demanding an awareness of all that is going on with the other instruments in the song, and the ability to make the right rhythmic, harmonic and melodic decisions to support them.
