Carnatic music is considered one of the oldest systems of music in the world. Imbued with emotion and the spirit of improvisation, it also contains a scientific approach.

You will be introduced to voice exercises, styles of singing, compositions, improvisation and so on.

Madhuri K V

Born and brought up in Tumkur, Smt.Madhuri started singing at the age of 8. She received initial training in Carnatic Classical Vocals from Vid.Smt.Sunanda Nagaraj, and continued under the guidance of Vid Sri.H.S.Balakrishna.

Emerged as District topper –Tumkur in Carnatic Classical Senior Vocals conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board. Received scholarship from Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy in Carnatic Classical Vocals.

She has participated in ETV Kannada “Ede Thumbi Haaduvenu”, “Endoo Mareyada Haadu”, “Haadonda Naa Haaduve”- Chandana TV, “Voice of Bangalore” – TV9 and many other solo and group performances.
